JavaMapper

JavaMapper is a free, open source java application for creating imagemaps. It is freely distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL).

Look and feel will vary between operating systems, these screenshots are from the Blackdown port of JDK 1.1 for Linux

Requirements

JavaMapper was written for JDK 1.2 or JDK 1.1 with JFC (Swing)

• Sun JDK (Windows, Solaris)
• IBM JDK (recommended for Windows users - trust me, it's a lot faster)
• Blackdown JDK (Linux)

The JavaMapper zip archive contains the java sources, precompiled classes, and example imagemaps.

Changes:

• updated the ui with Swing (JDK 1.2) components
• can open and update existing imagemaps - note however I didn't get around to finishing parts of that so you might be better off saving the output to a separate file and pasting in the final imagemap code
