MiniSearch v0.2

MiniSearch is a simple Perl search engine for small to medium sized sites. It is a is freely available, redistributable, and modifiable under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

November 2, 1999: Version 0.2 released

New features include:

• ability to search files in my forum
• a nice automated administration script, no need to manually edit any parameters
• optionally can run as a shell script
• a "where" parameter so you can specify which directories to return results from
• display of the pages is now done by templates so that several different sites can use the same search scripts, but have a different look
